PRESIDENT & CEO

 

David has spent most of his career, (approximately 200 dog years) in the pet health care industry. He is passionate about pets and ensures we develop integral and innovative products with all pet’s safety and well-being first of mind.
Rusty came to the Sparks household recently as a rescue pooch who was abandoned at 4 months old. He is a sweet & spunky Chihuahua/Bulldog/Terrier mix, who loves early morning long walks, his “Mr. Mustache” squeaky ball, frequent belly rubs, his favorite healthy snacks, and several daily naps.

MIKE SAN ROMAN & LULU

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

 

Michael has spent his whole life in the pet world.  The first half just being a proud pet parent, the second half making it a career.  Mike loves pets and has passed on his passion to his daughter, Julia. Together they now foster parents to both cats and dogs.

However, they are known as “foster failures”.  Their love for pets has caused them to adopt two dogs and one cat.

Thus Lulu, Zoey and Gordito are now proud children of the San Roman family.

COLIN BRODIE & COCO

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT / MARKETING

 

Colin’s career has spanned two continents, starting in Europe and for the past 26 years the USA. With a career that started in product development and then incorporated to Marketing, he is passionate about all aspects of the products we develop, market, and merchandise.
At home Colin is surrounded by his fish tanks and the ever playful and “Velcro” Havanese Coco, whose morning kisses are the best way to be woken up. With Coco’s constant reminders, only the best products are good enough for her.

ZACH SAN ROMAN & ZOEY

SALES MANAGER

 

Zachary has spent his whole life in the pet industry from the day he was born to his first company at age 16 with Ark Discount Pet Supplies. He graduated from

Marquette University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and has been working with pet startups ever since.Throughout his career, he has worked for 21st century animal healthcare, Smucker’s, and The Pet Firm.

Zachary loves to go hiking and mountain biking with his pups, Zoey and Lulu, or as he likes to call them, “adventure pups”.

STEVEN CHUNG & CICI

GRAPHIC DESIGN & MEDIA MANAGER

 

Steven manages our graphic design & media creation team and has been working in the graphic design field for over 10 years in numerous industries. He is excited to combine his passion for design & his love for animals together as part of the team at Acorn.

His furry pal Cici loves romping in the park & barking at the post man, not to mention taking naps & chasing Steven up and down the stairs each day.

MICHELLE SPARKS & CECILIA

WEB/CONTENT MANAGER

 

Michelle works on our web and media design team alongside her trusty companion Cecilia.

Cecilia was a rescue dog adopted at 6 months old. She loves long naps in the sun, walks in the park and chasing rabbits.

Michelle has several years experience in web development and content creation & is an essential member of our design and media team.
